Art & gallery reel editing
A brush mark, a shift in scale, a visitor moving through an installation: art footage has its own rhythm and visual priorities. Reelcraft shapes client-captured clips into concise social films that keep the work at the center of the frame.
The use case
Let the artwork set the rhythm
A cinematic social media video editor can help a painting, sculpture, exhibition or creative process read clearly in a vertical frame. The edit can move between context and detail while leaving room for the work's surface, scale and stillness.
- 01
Surface and detail
Move between an overall view and a close detail such as a brushstroke, material edge or sculptural texture.
- 02
Exhibition and scale
Use the gallery, installation or a person in the space to help the viewer understand scale and surroundings.
- 03
Process and gesture
Build a short sequence around a purposeful mark, hand movement, preparation step or reveal already in the footage.
The edit
Short-form video that makes space for the work
The edit can give an artwork time to register before changing perspective. Its cuts, movement and sound should support the work's own character rather than impose a generic gallery mood.
- 01
Establish the work
Begin with enough context for the subject to read, whether that is a single piece, installation or making process.
- 02
Reveal a second layer
Use a change in distance, light or viewpoint to bring forward a detail worth seeing more closely.
- 03
Keep the finish intentional
Let the last frame echo the opening composition or movement when the source clips make that possible.
How the work is scoped
Remote edit. Clear brief.
Editing from your footage
Reelcraft’s listed formats are remote edits made from footage you capture. Secure footage intake is temporarily paused; keep original clips in your own storage and do not send files or share links through the text-only project brief.
Optional filming or production
If the idea needs custom filming or broader production, describe the scope in a text-only inquiry. That work is considered separately and is not included in the remote editing formats.

What moment should people notice?
Share the brand or project, the moment you want to shape and whether footage has been captured. The brief does not accept source files or share links.
